Vidahost - serving over 400,000 page impressions a day for The Sinner
Chaosoc
The University of St Andrews Mathematical Society

Chaosoc is an up and coming society that is rapidly changing in its approach to how its members are best served. Gone are the days of hard core maths talks, and in with the quiz nights, Christmas meals, student mentoring scheme and possibly a ball held in association with other science societies.

The committee prides itself on being friendly and approachable, just take a look at the website (www.st-and.ac.uk/~chaosoc) to see all our happy mug shots. We like to think that we are a welcoming society and always like to see new members – although you need not be a maths student to join.

We have a good relationship with the department, and many members of staff support the society as well as the students.

We encourage students to give feedback on us, the department and courses, by filling out a slip of paper and posting it in our opinions box. This way we keep in touch with what is happening in and around the department, and can keep our members informed too.

Chaosoc is a society for people who like Maths, but mainly for people who are fun and enjoy getting involved in the events that their society hold.
