New Hall is one of the largest Halls of Residence owned by the University of St Andrews, and as the name suggests it’s also one of the newest! Opened in 1993, it has 519 bedrooms, of which 25 are shared, which means that there’s space for 544 students altogether. Currently it is the only Hall in St Andrews to have both catered and self-catered facilities, although the catered students are a majority.
