How to edit a page
First you must be logged in. After that, simply click on the "edit" button beside each page. You will need to format the page using wiki markup. This means that if you want text to appear as anything other than plain, you need to enclose it within the correct symbols. For example, if you want an internal link to appear, you type that link within two sets of square brackets. Fortunately you don't have to remember the markup, you will see some buttons at the top of the edit page you're editing to automatically add some of the most frequently used markup. You may also find the Wiki Cheatsheet useful (I did)[[1]], or click on the "help" link in Sinner's Guide options (left).
How to create a new page
All you need to do is make a new link in one of the existing menus. Click on edit, add the new page title enclosed within two square brackets, and save the page. You'll be taken back to the new, edited version of the menu, click on your shiny new link, and bingo! A lovely new page for you to create. If it's in a section with established formatting, you may want to cut and paste sections from another article (go to "edit" first though).
Conditions and terms of use
Don't feel the need to extract all humour from an article - this isn't your homework after all - BUT no lies, no libel, defamation or slander, and no nastiness please.
Spelling, people! You're at University now; you should have grasped the basics, so please try to stick to the English language. We'll be using English not American spellings, and please, please please, no txtspk. You've got a full keyboard in front of you - please use it.
Style Guide
The general idea is to provide a critical review of each topic under discussion. For instance, an article on the KK might include factual facts about history and aims of the club, info on the good stuff it does but also information on why it is controversial.
Please try and stick to any pre-established headings/formatting for the section you are editing.
