Introduction

Trampolining is a sport in which gymnasts perform acrobatics whilst jumping on a trampoline. There are three basic shape jumps, tuck, pike and straddle, and four basic landing positions, feet, seat, front, and back. These shapes and landings can then be combined with front and back somesaults and various twists to make very impressive looking moves.

Aims

We are a small but rapidly growing club who welcome both competitive and recreational, novice and elite bouncers. We compete in Scottish (SUS), British (BUSA) and Irish(ISTO) competitions. We were Most Improved Club in 2005/6. This year we have won 6 medals in the club, and came 6th(or 4th, depending on how you look at it!) in the Scottish League. We hold twice-weekly training sessions at the sports centre, and are a sociable, friendly club, with dinners and pub crawls organised by our social rep.
