Motorbiking
Hey all - i'm a non-biker with a bit of cash free and i'd love to learn. I've heard it takes a provisional course and loads of experience on the bike itself but i don't know anyone with whom i can practice. Anyone out there with some advice? Or anybody else who's considered this and wants to hook up for it? Many thanks x

Ha! You would post this about 2 weeks after I did my CBT! Consider Scotriders in Dundee, a husband and wife team who are nevertheless very professional and also good fun, and determined to get you through the course! Costs about £105 to do your CBT with them, full hire of gear and bike for the day, and they'll try their utmost to get you through it in one day, making sure if you're not perfect at an exercise you won't advance to the next stage. Great day out as well, if the weathers nice. Plus they give you a handy pack with your ceritificate afterwards that contains all the helmet/gear/bike dealers in the local area. I'm looking around for a bike at the moment to stick my halfords L plates to, got to save a wee bit more money first though.
