From the facebook group:

The ball is also a day away, and I hope everything has had a good graduation or are very excited about their ceremony.

An important piece of information I think all guests should be aware of.

Tickets for the graduation ball are non-transferrable. This means that any tickets purchased from outside the union will not permit you entry to the ball. This is because each ticket is linked to a student and ID will be required to gain entry.

If it becomes necessary that you want to relinquish your ticket or give it to another student, you MUST do this with the secretaries in the General Office (ASAP) so the correct details will be given to security at the ball.

The Students' Association cannot help anyone who purchases tickets from any source other than the Students' Association.

Please spread this news, and have fun at the ball.

Remember, be there for 8pm otherwise you'll miss the free Champaign, ice cream and chocolate!

Sorry for any confusion, there was a mistake in my earlier message.

Graduates who have purchased tickets for the ball but are no longer able to attend, can get a refund for their ticket, providing it is returned before 2pm on Friday 27th June 2008.
Any returned tickets will be available for re-sale on the gate at 8pm.

Hope this clears up a few queries.

Enjoy the ball.
See you there at 8pm, SHARP!

Your best bet might be to have to try for one at the gate this late in the day.
