Who switched B15's computers?

Hello there,
As goes the popular rumour right now, someone knicked my computer this evening (Monday). The laptop has been returned to me, but it appears as though it was a case of mistaken identity. Fyfe meant to take Scott's computer, as in the one on his desk. However, as we both have a similar model of laptop, he didn't realise he had actually taken mine (which was on his computer). Scott's laptop was on my desk, with all the normal things plugged into it. So I have my computer back and that's good. I need to find out who switched the computers, because this was not only big but also clever.

other than the obvious question above and to quote another sinner....
Did this get lost on the way to your livejournal?

I may be a pretty sad case but I don't write jokes in base 13

Well obviously not because I'm asking this question on the Chattan board, where people who live in Chattan occassionally look on and might be of some use to me.

And I should have locked the door, but I was just a few rooms down the hallway

This isn't the first time that somebody has been able to walk into the unlocked and uninhabited room that you and your roommate share, is it?

I hold an element of surprise

Which is pretty much what I'm saying. I don't ALWAYS lock my door, but if I knew people were doing this to me, I would learn

Jesus fucking Christ just drop the whole door thing. If I wanted your useful advice I would have asked for it.

The point is that I left the room locked for dinner, returned two hours later, didn't notice that anything was different, other than the door being unlocked. I then realised that one of the computers was missing when I came back to my room at around 11:30.

Yes, when I left the second time, the door should have been locked, but it's become commonplace that I've come back to my room before and there four of five people in there who aren't myself or Scott. And I know that Fyfe took my laptop by mistake, and it's been returned, and that's great. It's just the fact that whoever changed the computers round managed to inadvertently break the screen on mine, that's all.

Just as long as neither myself or Scott are present, but that goes without saying!

And angel_kohaku, what does this have to do with LiveJournal? Isn't that where people write about their emotions, failed relationships, and how much they hate their parents?

People have anonymous screen names for a reason, please respect that... it's in the rules. Thanks- Mod
