How bloody annoying...

...when people leave all their books and notes and pencil cases and attractive little post-its to personalise the study room desks and then they bugger off and don't come back all day, leaving NONE of the desks free for those of us who actually want to work down there.

and sadly enough, I'll probably be in there tonight when everyone else who has a life has gone to the may ball.. sigh.

and to top it off, I've just bought a bag of tesco pistachio nuts and they're all bloody sealed shut and won't crack open...

:-(

Apologies for rather abusive message- I was plastered at a family do and then found the computer...

I think you will find that the girls who have the post stick notes up in the swat room are down there near enough all the time. And there are many free desks as well. I was down in the swat room three times yesterday and the girls had not moved from their spots. I also think it is pretty rude to single them out because it is not just them who are taking up desks there are many other people too. And im sure if all the desks started getting full the they would take their stuff down.

I think you are over exaggerating a little bit there. There is always loads of desks free in the swot room, and that room is so dull and boring that it is nice to see a little bit of colourful decoration in there. Its hardly doing you any harm realistically.

Sorry, should have made myself clearer. I was referring to the dark overlord reprobates who achieve a state of procreative ecstasy by using these computers. I think we probably all know who I'm talking about.

I think you'll find it's 'swot' room and not 'swat' room, well, unless it is suddenly invaded by a swarm of wasps...
