Magistrands

Just wondered who was speaking?

Tetragrammaton is a four letter word.

Confirmed speakers include:

Laura Wilson, Tom d'Ardenne, Royce Hunt, Beth Conner, and Doug Cochran.

and the motion is...

'This House can't wait to leave Scotland'

(I expect a very uh...on topic debate!)

And me, Stephen Haraldsen.

No magistrands debate would be complete without the 5 year hangover that is me.

Well-publicised then.

Thank you. It's just about possible I'll drag myself over for it, but it is Passover, so things are a tad hectic.

It will be exciting stuff : (

As I predicted- exciting stuff....
I'm kind of glad there were so few there a)so not many people witnessed the speeches and b) as it had a bit of a feel of a pub lock in for sad old hacks, even if I was drinking tea...
A couple of people who are clearly on drugs have mentioned to me that they enjoyed the whole thing. I wonder if several of the speakers even recall having been there at all ; )

I should hope not, that would fly in the face of tradition.

An excellent and humourous, a fitting end to what has been a very good year for debates.

The beach bonfire was good fun too, despite having to manhandle Mr Haraldsen home...

How did we get home? I don't remember anything much after getting to the beach.

Every time I'm at a debate these days it's like being at the opening of a bloody film- always cameras clicking and flashes going off everywhere. Who are the people taking loads of photos, and are there any of Wednesday or the Balaka?

I took a couple at the Balaka until my battery died.
