Society website

I'm having a look at St Andrews as a place for my PhD. I'm interested in the Postgraduate Society. Does it have a website where I can find out some more details?

The Postgraduate Society does have a website but sadly it is rather out of date.

At the moment the Postgraduate Society is not active. I was president for 18 months but my PhD had to take priority and I did not run again in the recent elections. Unfortunately no one else did either!!

The Union will be running a series of events throughout the summer for PGs using the funding which is set aside for PG events. There will be another election in October and I hope to encourage someone to take over the running of the society then! In the mean time things are rather quiet.

All the other societies affiliated with the Student's Association are open to PGs so there is never a shortage of things to attend.

Hope this helps!
