library ssh

dumb question, but i heard the uni limited a lot of things you can do on resnet - in order to prevent people from hiding their bit torrent downloads in ssh.

is it possible to ssh from the library - to say the comp sci machines, or wired? <- this is actually for work and not anything illegal :)

You should be able to, yes. You should be able to SSH directly to those machines from Resnet, I think. While I'm not on Resnet this year, I hear they blocked external SSH connections, but internal connections should still work.

Yes SSH works, I used to use it all the time for accessing my comp sci files from halls

Halls are not the library.
