Quoting exnihilo from 15:02, 13th Jun 2005 Get a job? That's cheap. No-one this side of the Atlantic (or Pacific, come to think of it) is crazy enough to employ me. It would be like that time I worked in a Nigerian hospital; it blew up. [hr] "If it can't be cured with either bacon fat or vinegar, i...

Re:

Trenchers with Association gowns have been an issue that have been taxing me lately: is it appropriate to wear/carry them when representing the Union, and not being an ordinary student? There is also an Association Officer who would suit wearing a trencher, if only for her ability to be a handy drin...

Bristol Cream

Good news, gentlefolk of this Royal Burgh: Messrs. Stockwell and Cohen, aka TESCO, are once again stocking Harvey's Bristol Cream, the true breakfast of champions.

And it's on special (£2 off).

The stupid accent, however, I have mastered.

Venue 1? Purpose-built only for a load of drunken loons to attempt to pull while listening to "cheese".

They will probably think "My God, he is having a relationship with that gay English boy in a pink shirt who is always around but never comes to meals".

Which is wrong on at least four counts, just so you know.

Re:

Perhaps the "Graduate" tie is indicative of membership of General Council? (Which, of course, has the same meaning, but would signify belonging to the organisation rather than just(!) being a graduate).

Re:

If the BESS-dessin "Undergraduate Tie" is actually the Association tie, does that mean if I get Life Membership I can wear it after I graduate? And here I am wearing it 24/7 to try to get the value out of it.
