Ooh, that's not quite what I'd expected: how did tonight go?

Re:

Has no-one noticed rampant conflicts of interest inherent in this post? I move that tyrant be given moderator powers on this board until the elections are over.

Re:

I am told that it was, in fact, the Convener who was in a state of disorder on Wednesday.
He didn't take three points of order, and when called upon to resign at the absence of Alex S, made an ill-judged comment on one of his relatives having resigned from this earth.
I say "Resign!".

Re:

Perhaps the interruptions were more entertaining than the actual debate itself? I was not there, but feel this may have been the case, from my sources.
Can it be that the House is feeling slightly restless, and maybe even completely fed up with the way things are?

You know me and I know you, Mr. Bean... Tweedle-Dee has already started you off by telling you where I went to school.

Re:

I would like to, read more of Tweedledum's poetry; perhaps he will release an anthology? It would be a great way of raising money for a new scarlet monstrosity for Potsy.
I am told he has stooped so low as to resort to making speeches in LPH about the theft.

Re:

For goodness sake, just get him back the gown-after all, this is not Dundee. We have standards.

Ah, boys at the KK-what japes. Whatever will they think of next-something useful?

Seriously, if he gets it back, this thread will stop re-appearing, and that would certainly benefit mankind.

Re:

You certainly weren't the only one who made a mistake last night, i.e. me, in being there.
Cliche-ridden, generally humourless and boring-no, not the Convenor, but the debate. Debate? Sorry, I forgot there was no such thing.
The drinks were thankfully a welcome distraction.
