[b]Quoting smeagol from 18:57, And, android, frankly, you're just cheating!! I know, dear. But I do love it so. But you won't be sooo far away, right? You're never far from St Mary's in your heart. Unless you're in, like, New Zealand or something. That's pretty far. Or Tahiti. That's quite far too....

Room available with MPhil Divinity student

Postgrad (MPhil) in Divinity with a room in my two bedroom flat just beyond Lamond Drive at the East Sands end for the coming session. Posting here first as I found my current flatmate on the Sinner, another Divinity student, and it worked wonderfully. Unfortunately, she is abandoning me to teach in...

Re:

I was in Melville in first year and loved it! The only miserable thing was the constant fire drills (keep your shoes by the door at night) which I hear they have cut down a bit. Plus if you're anything like me you'll start to limit your shopping due to the thought of lugging it up that aesthetically...

Hi there. I was wondering if anyone could give me a hand in thinking about postgrad stuff? I really want to continue postgraduate work, and I'm very interested in my subject. My problem is that the St Mary's website doesn't give a whole lot of information, and I'm not sure who to ask about it. I wan...

Hi Cathy. Firstly, well done for still being here. As well as having depression on and off for a few years back, I've volunteered with mental health agencies and, though it doesn't sound very helpful, it has often been said that a mentally healthy person doesn't attempt suicide. I don't mean this to...

So many wonderful books I've had the enjoyment of... but my favourite is still Evelyn Waugh's "Brideshead Revisited". My favourite author though is Graham Greene.
