Re:

It smowed today as well. More importantly, I was stood up by the maoam person. That's a horrible thing to do. I got all wet and muddy crossing the lake as well. Anyway, the prize is buried under the tree/bush thing on the island. maoam.

Re:

It looks like my £1.40 is going to remain fairly secure. As a compromise, I am willing to loan somebody £1.40 on the promise that they pay it back to me at a rate of interest of my choosing. Either that, or I am willing to exchange the money for three maoams, and if nobody accepts either compromise,...

The massive ammount of editing there was due to my futile attempt to link the last m's of the two horizontal maoams with an 'aoa'. I'll give anybody £1.40 who manages to create a maoam square. Farley

Re:

Should servants and waiters wear a different style of dinner jacket from diners? Or, is there one style of dinner jacket which servants and waiters should only wear? A friends once implied that this was the case.

Returning to dress - I'm speaking in the Freshers' Debate and I'm concerned about whether to wear trous or plain black. Thoughts?

I'd pluck for the former - give the new foreign contingent an early dose of Scottishness.

Incidentally, what's the motion?
