Re:

Well fortunately under Rushton's classic faulty escalators are wild, thus allowing me the only logical response which is of course ACTON TOWN.

See, for example, Littleton 1959.

Re:

What does it mean when it says the median has to be an 'integer'?

My mean is 15.95 (8 modules, middle two are 15.4 and 16.5) - does this mean it is actually 16?

Thanks for any help! (Can you tell I don't do maths?!)

Degree classification

So I know this is a bit premature but I'm just wondering... I am about to finish my exams, IR single hons. So I have done 6 equally weighted credits and have 2 more to go. I have 4 clustered around the 15 mark, one 16.5 and am likely to have 3 between 17 and 18 by the end of the session. This gives ...

Re:

The Peat Inn is still the Peat Inn. And wonderful. Inn at Lathones is a different spot, around 8 miles south of St As in (surprise surprise) Lathones. Also highly recommended. Would roughly agree with the above ranking, dropping down the old course hotel and adding in The Grange, which I am surpised...

A friend of mine worked as a postman for a whlie in his summer holidays. After three weeks he was fired. Why? He had been far too efficient and was showing up all the other workers! Ridiculous.

I really enjoyed my CSTPV internship but felt that I didn't see many benefits from all my work which was disaapointing. However now is a great time to get involved with CSTPV as it is undergoing big changes, new director (ex-UN bod, cant remember his name), and hopefully getting the database fully o...

What's the answer to question 3? I reckon I can do the rest but really... what sort of answer are they expecting? As in - where in the company hierarchy? Or as in - where in the world? Re:

I got a 15 but put an awful lot of effort into it, and I usually get higher grades. I know many people were very disappointed with their marks, I know one person got an 8 which seems a bit ridiculous... It is a bit shit that one tutor seems to be giving a lower average grade than all the other IR le...

Butts Wynd

Does anyone know if you can just use the exercise cycles that are up on the squash balcony? Would it disturb the squash players? And when is it open anyway? I am well too lazy to get to the gym and Butts Wynd is so much nearer!

NOT ENOUGH BOOKS This is the main thing that is wrong with the library. There should also be more than one copy of books that are very popular in the short loan section. Assuming that each short loan can be taken out twice in a day and once overnight, and then over the weekend, this means that a sho...
