Does anybody know what's going to replace the Red Reiver? I'm living right next to it this year and I was looking forward to having a pub next door!

I cannot BELIEVE that they would try to restrict people from watching R-rated movies when legally you only have to be 17 to see one. Insane.

Re:

Last year, my friend bet that I couldn't get the word "fluffy" into my exams. However I managed to squeeze it into my Art History paper by saying that in one of the paintings, a man's hair was curly and fluffy.

I was admitted and here are my scores:

AP: one 5, two 4s, two 3s
SAT: 1350
ACT: 30

My advice is to come here immediately! It is by far the best choice I have ever made in my life :)

Raisin Sunday/Monday

So, freshers, how was it? Was it all you had hoped for? Or are you still so violently hungover that you can't even respond?

Yes, we shoot .22 caliber rifles indoor and we have outdoor matches as well. We shoot targets, so no dead animals or anything :) We provide everything (jackets, slings, rifles, and gloves- the only thing you pay for is ammo). Take a look at our facebook group (St. Andrews University Rifle Club) and ...

Join Rifle Club!!

Hey all you freshers! If you're looking for an enjoyable, no-pressure activity to take up some of your time, why not join rifle club? No running, jumping, or really any movement at all! That's why I like it! :) The people are great and really easy to get along with, we have great social events that ...

I had studied Spanish for 9 years prior to arriving at Uni and I still found the program difficult. I wasn't in the Spanish for Beginners course but I have heard that it moves very quickly. I think it is more useful though to study an actual language that people use rather than something like Latin....

I was in Sallies last year and I never EVER got into any trouble for my posters (and my roommate and I had at least 8 on our walls and dresser). If you make friends with your cleaner, they won't tell anybody. I never had an inspection. Maybe I was just lucky.

At certain points in the year you can share a shuttle (van-type thing) with other students that takes you straight to either your hall of residence or the student union. Go to http://www.standrewsdirect.co.uk to sign up for a certain time. It's a bit more pricey (about 20 pounds I think) but cheaper...

Chicago is definitely the place to be. It's like a cleaner, friendlier, downsized New York. But if you don't like extreme weather, Chi-town is probably not the best place you should be living.
