Re:

I think your Mum's attitude really isn't great, my sister and I were both anorexic during our teens, at my worst I weighed five stone and she weighed five and a half (but she's taller so it was just as bad). If our parents and doctors and friends and people hadn't been sympathetic I don't think we w...

Re:

I heard about it on the school bus. They said 'we have cancelled todays whatever (some concert or something) out of respect for the lives lost in America). I asked the bus driver what happened and he just turned the radio off and was like 'it's nothing'. Looking back I think he did it because there ...

Thanks Guys James01, thanks for your advice, the thing is my Mother does live in France for a lot of the time so am not sure if the same laws apply but as it's in the EU the legislation probably will be similar. Speeding Fine

My Mother has got a 200 euro speeding fine because the authorities say she was caught on camera in Grenoble breaking the speed limit at the end of May. Not only has my Mother, who is a careful driver, never been to Grenoble but on the date the offence was supposedly committed she was in the UK as wa...

Don't Walk

I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience of being involved with or trying out for the don't walk fashion show. I was thinking of going for it next year, but the whole thing seems a bit intimidating - I walk well in heels and I have good posture. Is this what they're looking for or do they wan...

It's a bit insensitive to the opinion of the black community in London. Also, where does he suggest they go? Many black people have been here for many many generations and feel a lot more rooted in the Uk than else where. I don't realistically think that Boris Johnson is going to make people flee fr...

When are you taking the photos for this Oli? I'd love to do the horses one although I won't be back in town until August. Is this too late? I've not ridden for several years but I used to love it. Is Olive Oil actually good for dry/cracked skin

I've been told by various people that Olive Oil is a great moisturiser for very dry skin that keeps cracking. Is this so?

Re:

Someone told me that the library were looking for lots of people to do reshelving in June. I still have to go in and enquire about it, but it certainly seems an okay, if somewhat monotonous, job and it involves working with books, which can't be altogether bad. Re:

Then again it is nice to smile at people...
