The Societies Fayre is a chance to find out more about the activities you can get involved in during your spare time, you can speak to members of the societies and learn more any introductory events that might be happening during the first few weeks. The fayre normally takes place in the Union and c...

Re: Gyms in St Andrews

Not sure about swimming pools. But the East Sands Leisure Centre (next door to Albany Park) has a fitness suite there, so that might be another gym type option. Probably best to pop along and ask to see it/ask about prices etc.

Re: Social Psychology

Whats the case study for? It seems like a review essay question? If you study Psych at St Andrews then the content in the fourth year group behaviour and also the prejudice modules may be relevant. Social psych theories relating to biases- e.g. fundamental attribution bias and also majority/minority...

Re: Matriculation

Its always a bit confusing. This page might help: http://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/students/academic/matriculation/ They also sometimes have signs up in the Library and the Union (around the Info point/cloakroom) so you might be able to check these out. :) If you are going into Honours (3rd/4th year) dif...

Re:

Definitely contact Student Support. My friend was on crutches for a while and they paid for taxis to get her to and from all of her lectures and tutorials for the 4 weeks she couldn't walk. What email have you used? You could try askmaggie@st-andrews.ac.uk that normally gives a quick response. Or go...

Re:

Fresh Looks on Bell Street is really good. Prices vary depending on what you're after- I think its £10-15 for a simple bikini line wax and £25 for a Brazilian. These are just estimates so probably best to ring up to be sure.

Re:

I didn't see the incident, just the ambulances. From what I've heard she was a female student leaving the library with headphones in and crossed the road either on or near the crossing by the library on North St and was hit by a car. Sounded pretty nasty as she apparently flew up in the air but I kn...

Ambulance North Street

A girl (student) got hit by a car today on North St just outside the library. I was just wondering if anyone knew whether she was okay?

Re:

As far as I know there are two primary schools that have breakfast clubs in St Andrews- Canongate primary school and Lawhead primary school. If you are looking to help out at either breakfast club, you should contact 'Families First' the organisation that provides the volunteers, food and generally ...

Re:

Quoting Steveo from 13:51, 15th Mar 2008
It might have predicted the winners, but the relative percentages were all off for DoR and DoSDA.

In the end all that matters is who won though right?

RGJohns your algorithm was spot on for the Sabb predictions! :) Andrew Keenan, Stacy Lee, Philippa Dunn and James Shield.

It seems the amount of facebook friends really does matter in today's world! Maybe you should do it for the U.S. elections...
