Re:

Quoting Marco Biagi from 18:55, 5th Dec 2005 I even agree with Dubya, a marriage could be defined as between a man and a woman... in a church . If some hate-filled, biblically literalist, don't-believe-in-fire churches (like say, every major Christian denomination from the Church of Scotland to the...

Re:

Maybe the parents should consider this that the fact OFSTED thought that the school was bad and the parents didn’t isn’t limited to religious based schools. Maybe OFSTED is the organisation that is failing. It was never likely that a body set up to stay “they’re good” and “there crap” and has been r...

Ahhhhhhhhh shit, I can’t believe I missed it. Will have to do something this weekend now, to make up for it.

Will have to try and convince some Chattanites to continue the tradition.

Hi I'm coming up to St Andrews to start my first year next month and just want to find out a few things about the canoe club. What gear will I need to provide? Do you just wear swimming costumes in the pool? Do I need to bring my own wet suit? How often do you go out on the sea/river and do you do t...

Re:

I still speak to my mothers even though they left in 2001. I was lucky as they were amazing parents, worth keeping in contact with.

Still spend a bit of time with my children and Grandchildren but not as much as I would like.

There is no space for family to stay in halls. I would recomend getting rid of the parents asap. You will find it much easier to meet people and settle in without them.

Re:

I didn’t bring my CD’s as you could just rip them to MP3 and play them through your computer. It saves on space but also, avoids the risk of loss damage in transit or while you’re here. I would also say don’t bring electrical items for several reasons, if you want to get an idea what some thing will...

The first post seems to have specified that the poster didn't want this thread to descend into bitching. I'll try and write a brief history in the morning but it would be nice if people who just want to slag every one off would at least make it seem like they were trying to be informative.
