Is 15.4 a high 2:1?

I recently graduated with an average of 15.4 and now find myself applying to a course that gives considerable muster to a high 2:1 degree (as opposed to a low one!). Does anyone know if there are any official cut-off points for high/low/mid 2.1's - and where would you put a 15.4?? Thanks for any rep...

Re:

Just to confirm, it was based on number of members of each candidate's Facebook group, from Monday & Tuesday.

These may well have changed since then.

The one and only group that I couldn't find (on Mon) was Jonathan's - so I guessed that (sorry!).

I would be shocked if this was not based on facebook group membership.

Lollipop to MJC!

Now, would be interested to see if this correlates to actual results...

Indeed, it just measures candidates' current predicted position relative to each other.

Secret Algorithm For Predicting The Winners

Whilst wondering who was most likely to win the elections this year, it came to me - an INDEPENDENT, (hopefully) accurate and (for now) secret algorithm for predicting the winners... A lollipop for who can guess what the secret algorithm is :) None of these represent my own views - blame the algorit...

Re:

Oh no, this throws up too many questions:

-- Who is 'Dalek'?

-- Why does Malcolm Collins have an 'M' after his name?

-- If Chris Zegel and Jessica Siegel got married, would they become the Zegel-Siegels??

I do Psychology, and chose Linguistics as an option in the first year, and would certainly do it again. It's more interactive than most courses, both in lectures and seminars which makes a nice change. The lecturers are lovely, and while it is a fair bit of work, much of what you learn is actually r...

Here's a game I invented: Put 'Gaza' (as in Gaza Strip) into Google News, and replace all the headlines with 'Gazza' (as in Geordie footballer), eg: "Tutu comments on Gazza city violence" "Aid agencies condemn Gazza carnage" "Bush urges restraint after Israel shells Gazza" "Gazza plunges deeper into...

Re:

I am doing a second (undergraduate) degree, and I got funded AND a full student loan.

To apply for the loan, you have to apply for funding anyway - it's unlikely that you'll get it for a second degree, but I promise it's possible!!

I love Sheffield LEA :)
