Re: Bell Street Porn

This is absolutely true. Their offices are in between the bondage dungeon and the 'petting' zoo.

Re: What harm could it do?

Are you Rapture Ready?. If not, better visit here. http://www.rr-bb.com/ The coming war of Gog and Magog is nearly upon us. Muahahahahah I love this forum. On the gathering of 50,000 Muslims on Capitol Hill to pray, user ashkick01 writes: "How it must anger God to look down on a nation he has ...

Re: Formal wear for guys

I've been in St. Andrews for 4 years now and have had to attend numerous balls (which are awesome). Most required a black tie outfit, but I've always gotten away with wearing a dark suit with a tie.

Just about the only occasion where you'll definitely need one and not the other is graduation.

Re: Freshmen 2009

Hey maybe you oughta stop for a second and consider that you're pretty much pooping on any Fresher's expecatations of Fresher's Week by having this debate on this thread. To be frank, the whole point of the week is to go out and meet people and (if you're so inclined) get drunk and do stupid things ...

Re: Dean's list?

What are the requirements to get onto the Dean's list? My average has been above 16.5 for several semesters, but I've never received a letter or had a thing on my transcript. :(

Re: So I hear Aikmans has gone Bankrupt?

Yes, some more information would be welcome. If true, it's the end of an institution. :(

Re: Revision music

This semester it's been mostly Boards of Canada, Seu Jorge's Life Aquatic Studio Sessions, Stars of the Lid and Bob Dylan.

Re: Jerry Springer

Saw it last night -- absolutely fantastic! Everything about the production was extremely polished. In particular, though, the music and singing were very, very good. All this hype about 8-part harmonies and such is very justified. Also, for those people complaining about the show pushing boundaries:...

Passport sized photos

I need some passport sized photos for a visa application, but since Woolworths has shut, I'm not sure where I can have them taken/printed on the spot. Does anyone know anywhere in town that can do this?

Re: Food, drink & other things in the library

After reading this, I'm going to find the most obnoxious, arsey-looking rule-abiding pedant in the library, sit next to them and break all of those rules with passion.

To be frank, if you're so uptight about studying, do it at home.

Re: Idlewild!!

I'm not a fan of Idlewild and won't be attending the gig, but I think it's absolutely fantastic that Musfund are bringing bands to St. Andrews! Keep up the good work guys (and maybe convince Massive Attack to play  ).

Re: Geopursuit

I found the code that begins with B; but I have no idea where the other one is. Any hints?

Spoiler: show
I'm guessing it's somewhere in Athens but I can't find it near the Olympic stadium or the Parthenon.

Re: Do I need a first?

Personally I'm aiming for a first, but that's because I intend to pursue a career in academia -- and I desperately need as much funding as possible for my PhD. I agree with most everyone else, though -- a 2.1 is decent enough for most jobs, but what really matters is what you do outside your degree.
