Graduation gown

According to Ede and Ravenscroft's website, I'm a little late to the gown rental party. It informed that I should 'keep an eye out during graduation week', whatever that means. Does anyone know if gowns are generally available to rent during grad week itself? I graduate on wednesday afternoon if tha...

Re: Dog shit

Jaspar, I'm with you on this one! North Street. The Scores path near the Obelisk. South Street. Lade Braes lane. Grass opposite the Byre. All recent poogate sightings. Irresponsible dog owners, or extremely drunk second years... Ha! Someone agrees with me. The rain today has cleaned our pavements o...

Dog shit

Has anyone else noticed that the streets of St Andrews, in particular South Street, have unusually high levels of dog shit on them? I keep my eyes peeled for any piles or brown smudges on the slate, but I know that it's just a matter of time until some finds its way onto the bottom of my shoe.

Re: List your all time top 5 favourite computer/video games

In no particular order: Deus Ex - PC - my only regret is that I played it with cheats on because it came out about five years before I got good at computer games. Max Payne - PC - I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet. It is a little short, but the action is incredible and it ran smoothly o...

something interesting

Hello Sinners, I have just returned to St. Andrews after a semester off, and I find myself in the position of getting to choose between a few different options. I will be doing intermediate macroeconomics and statistics to fulfill the requirement to do economics next year for junior honours. However...

Re: Spare Change

Is there anywhere we can take coins to have them counted and turned into useful money? I have some coin bags from the bank, but I don't quite have enough of any type to get them changed at the bank. Why won't RBS let me just dump all my change into a magical machine that counts them for me?

Re:

It looks pretty good, but I don't like that I can't get to the Schools and Subjects link on Current Students without going into another page and then scrolling down. It used to be quite prominent on the Students homepage.

While I myself am a pretty good speller, I know a lot of intelligent people who for whatever reason aren't very good at it. I think that for course work, your spelling should be perfect. After all, it's all done on a word processor anyway. But for exams, I think the markers should let minor mistakes...

Dishwasher

I wouldn't recommend putting the whole laptop in, but it's supposed to work with standalone keyboards.

How exactly does this make the BBC a "fuckwit"? The reporter is just pointing out something that a lot of people may not realise about their facebook privacy.
