Re:

Itunes emailed me back allowing me to re-download all of the songs I lost just by clicking on the store tab, then check for purchases. I'm happy, and backed up all the music too. Don't want this happening again!

Re:

Thanks for the link, I've emailed them with my order numbers, but it says on a FAQ that I should have made more backups and they do not allow for tracks to be downloaded more than once. Annoying thing is that I thought it was all backed up to my external drive. I'll wait and hope from a response fro...

I only have a 70GB internal harddrive on my PC on to which my music was stored, so when i ran out of space i transferred it all to my 500Gb external drive, everything fine so far. Because the files were not in the origina...

Re:

I've been looking at laptops too, one that looked promising was the Samsung R700 for about £580. Is this a good option? One thing that worried me was the weight, it's ~3.18kg, which online reviews tell me is too heavy to be a good portable laptop. They suggest that I just plug it in on my desk and u...

Re:

I've been in Fife Park for the past 3 years, I even requested it for my first year. I'll agree that it can be harder to meet people, but I made amazing friends there. Fife Park has 6 rooms per house, and if you are allocated in a house with 5 other nice people you will have a good year. And save you...

Mine hasn't been? Which houses have? I'm in 24 and I've not heard anything, or maybe I'm such a deep sleeper.

Re:

We think we've found a good ceilidh band we are going to accept.

Thank for all the help everyone, it's been a really good response. And we shall make a note of the bands mentioned to use in later events.

even more than £750? I'm not sure if we can afford them, but heard they're the best ceilidh band in the world, or so it was advertised on a website.

Ceilidh Bands

Hey, I'm in the middle of searching for a ceilidh band for an event, and emailed a few bands asking if they're available and what price etc.. But would be very interested to hear if anyone here can recommend a band? Or know how much we should roughly fork out for one. We've had one quote so far for ...

I've just bought the 500GB western digital myBook. Lets hope it works without a glitch for me, and I'm not one of the unfortunate ones that have faced problems with it.

external hard drive

Hey, I'm interested in buying an external hard drive for my desktop PC. Are there any particular brands or types I should go for? I've heard a couple of people recommend Western Digital MyBook's, however I've read some bad reviews about them on Amazon. I'd preferably be going for a 320 or 500GB, and...

Well the bbq's today, and hopefully it'll stay dry. If not I guess we may have to move inside. You should find it at the grassy patch round the front of houses 20-24.
