Re: Kate Kennedy Club Twitter?

"Unofficial KKC
@KateKennedyClub St. Andrews
The KKC exists to uphold the ancient traditions of St. Andrews: the wearing of Tartan trousers, observation of the May Dip & shooting of impoverished students."

Satirical methinks?

Haha, it looks like it.

Re: The Raisin

They removed the jukebox and the pool tables, and as far as I know the game machines. They must be trying to change their customer base, but everybody I've spoken to has been disappointed with the change :wacko:

Re: Management Department

Looks like a couple of the lecturers will be heading the new postgrad SD programme which will be based at the gateway. Can't help but think this has something to do with a reshuffling 8-)

Re: budget digital camera

Most photographers will swear by the more expensive SLR cameras but take a look in argos and get a fairly cheap 8mp one if you aren't looking for the best quality in the world. The price after the cameras in that range goes up very quickly. Wow, took me more than half an hour to post that. Bloody pr...

Re: bicycle repair

£45 in spokes got me a full maintenance, haven't had any problems since. They even changed my full brake system because the one I had last year was pretty dire. I don't see any reason to go elsewhere to be honest.

Re: Which came first?

Dr Google says that there are actually quite a few invertebrates with haemoglobin variants. Haemocyanin is apparently less efficient in conditions suitable for vertebrates, but proves to be more efficient at the low temperatures and O2 pressure where crustaceans etc are prevalent. Presumably this ha...
