Re:

This is gonna be a big one! I'm so excited about this night! Zane is apparently going to do over 2 hours himself on the decks. He's got a support DJ he's bringing with him from London and the night is going to be a blast. Music wise it's going to be everything, from Franz Ferdinand to the Prodigy an...

Orange GPRS

Is anyone having trouble accessing orange GPRS or sending and receiving orange picture messages at the moment?

Stopped working for me last night but Orange say that everything on their system looks fine.

Re:

I thought MPs who have resigned / been forced to resign just got another job on the cabinet after the next re-shuffle or election. If that's the case he's only got 6 months to wait. More of a holiday than anything else.

I hope this means that we dont have to have ID cards tho.

Re:

I think the association should buy more plastic bottled drinks like smirnoff ice. Sure - there's no way of serving vodka and coke in anything but a glass, but if there was a bigger selection of drinks in plastic bottles, it would make drink spiking more difficult. From what i hear, the plastic bottl...

I think it's because of the alleged theft of the lion costume. I heard it cost £400, so I can understand why some people are pretty upset.

Re:

Its pretty easy to see the reasons why ITS limit access to things the way they do. Its purely to cover their own back. - If they stop people file sharing, then they don’t risk having record companies and the like on their backs. - By blocking other ports, they make it much more difficult for viruses...

The Positive Thread

I've got exams starting tomorrow, so I thought I'd start a thread of 'positive things' that I could think about when revision's getting a bit much. You could report a good thing that happened to you recently, or something in the news, or something you've just randomly thought about. The main thing i...

I've had orange for years now. I think they're excellent. The coverage is really really good. The only places i know i cant get reception is in the byre theatre and in the cellar bar. I get reception even in the back of tescos :-) They also let you choose any price plan from any network. So at the m...

Its really great to see so many people who feel strongly on this issue.. just as i do. But it's all well and good us complaining about it here, I want to *do* something about it. With that in mind, I am considering subjecting myself to a weeks sensory deprivation, during the summer. I would be restr...

Well said Plette! Just because someone has done something terrible, doesn't give anyone else the excuse to do terrible things themselves, even to that person. And I do beleive everyone, no matter what a person has done, they should have the right to one day make amends for what they have done. Shame...

makes me very angry too. It makes me want to do something about it myself. Sure thing, we can write letters to our mps and the such like, but does that actually work? Re:

Some of the articles say that although the people released had very little/no contact with each other, that they all had extremely similar stories to the way that they were treated. Surely this is some evidence.

Glad someone replied though, was begining to think no-one else cared a dam.
