Re:

The story is true. If you read the University Court minutes which are freely available online it says that the planning applications and the proceeding of development with 3 new blocks at DRA (taking the total number of beds to ~904) should only go ahead pending the successfuly sale of Hamilton as e...

Hamilton Hall sale used to fund new DRA blocks...

I don't know if this is old news or not because I've been out of the loop a while but I have to say I'm not impressed that the University court is proposing to use the money from the sale of Hamilton hall to fund the construction (pending planning permission) of 3 new blocks of expensive apartments ...

Managment Lecture Password...

Hi, I was ill for some of the managment lectures for section 3 theory and organisations and the notes all seem to be passworded with some password given out in lectures when I wasn't there. Could anyone tell me what the username and password are supposed to be or maybe host the lecture PDF files on ...

Re:

If you post those here you might get a warning from ITS...ie don't post things if you want to keep them!

And it's probably against the rules of the forum as it is providing personal information about people or details people could use to find out personal information.

I don't believe society is over feminised.

However I do agree that feminism no longer stands for equality but better treatment for those women rather than equal treatment for all.

Re:

Yes they got 4.9 but they did say they had exceptional circumstances.

Also people who find it very easy might be less inclined to bother doing the work until it gets into the harder stuff in second year.

CS1004 is piss easy compared to CS1002 (both first year modules are easy).

I wouldn't worry about it.

Why not play...

SOME DECENT GAMES!!!

Why is it people all play shit games like wolf? I mean fair enough it's engine is simple enough to run on crap computers, but wouldn't it be more fun to play something like UT2003?

Wolf is pants, and playing it all the time is just arse.

Re:

I'm sure that they don't do suit hire too.

THey do kilts though, so if you're Scottish or american/canadian you're fine.

Burton in kirkcaldy does formal hire (most likely the one in dundee too) though it may take a couple of days for your suit to be sent through to the branch.

Re:

It used to be that it was hardest to get back in for your 3rd year. But I think they just pick people at random nowadays. If not and it's how it used to be you've not got much chance. Nobody does anymore as there aren't even enough spaces for all the first years. Unless you are on your hall committe...

Re:

I'm not mortally offended. I just quite liked reading the sinner and the new layout makes you want to chuck when you look at it. It doesn't look more professional, it looks more like a page designed by a first year IT student. I admit the curent design is simple, but it doesn't try to be anything el...

Re:

The new features of the site are great. The actual design however is pretty crap. To turn around and say "if you don't like it don't say so" is stupid. Sure Oli might be hurt because he did it, but I think better that then storming ahead and changing it and loosing people because it sucks and it was...

This guy obviously wanks a lot and feels that this might help him feel more normal and less of a perpetual wanker if other people vote....

I say we leave him alone to wank over the fact nobody is voting ;)

....sad.

I wasn't saying 20something is old.. just that people over 20 should not act, nor want to act like an 18 year old.

I totally agree with pussycat here.

It's my general opinion that 20 somethings that try to act like 18 year old freshers look increadibly sleazy and greasy etc.

Not very attractive. Better to act your age I think.
