Re:

I do think last year's was better however i quite enjoyed it. There were pretentious ones (but what do you expect from students :P )and a few that were moderate, but I wouldn't have walked out as most films had a different style and different people working on them. I agree the first one was quite b...

Re:

the only thing annoying about them is watching the slow people on them, i always tend to be able to go through them quicker than with a person at the check outs. Also a few people, i suppose not from here sometimes don't notice the queue and stand in front of the queue or behind someone using the ma...

Re:

I've never informed a customer i was at Uni, i don't think that should matter, most people are under stimulated & overqualified for mundane jobs, although i suppose it does make a good rebuttal. So many customers do seem incapable of understanding that people have a life outside of serving them, and...

I'm a third year IR student, and I haven't studied English so i can't compare, but IR is so much better in honours to what it was in first year. Maybe you could look at the module booklets, some are online: http://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/intrel/undergraduatestudy/honoursmodules/ and do some reading fro...

IR Dissertation form

I'm doing single honours, so it's required that i do a dissertation. The problem is today the forms have to be handed in and i haven't decided the topic, so what happens if i don't hand it in? In the booklet it just says i'll be allocated a tutor much later, but does that mean i will just get alloca...

permission to proceed withdrawn

I did a search through the sinner but there seems to be mixed views on this issue. Basically I am Junior honours IR student and i was 20 credits behind so i have taken a 1st year philosophy module this year. Obviously I have made IR my priority but stupidly i have missed 3 tutorials for philosophy w...

Quoting from 11:17, 23rd Apr 2008 I find it amusing how St. Patrick's day is perfectly viable, but anyone found celebrating St. George's is likely to be lynched... Well, at least have plenty of dirty looks cast in their direction. I don't know about that. there seems to be more people complaining a...

Re:

A few years ago i was in a taxi which instead of going around a bend went straight into and flipped upside down. About ten minutes before that happened i looked to the driver and he was using his mobile, on a dark country road at 5am. I never mentioned this to the police at the time as i couldn't re...

What do you want to be when you grow up?

So what plans does everyone have for when they leave?

I want to work for an NGO, but that's as detailed as my plans are, probably should do more research since I'm currently 3rd year.
