Where can I get pole dancing lessons?

Postby juiciestbabygurl on Sat Oct 18, 2008 1:53 am

My friend does pole dancing lessons in Glasgow to keep fit and she has convinced me to do the same. However, I can't seem to find any place in Dundee or near St Andrews that actually teaches pole dancing for fun. I can only find lessons for training you up to be a professional pole dancer... and I was thinking that considering I intend to graduate from St Andrews Uni that perhaps I should consider a different line of work...

Anyway, I've googled til the sun comes down and the closest lessons I can find is Private Eyes in Dunfermiline! Dunfermiline's a bit far away. I emailed Private Eyes Dundee but they haven't replied and everytime I phone it just rings out.

Any ideas?

"Where can I get pole dancing lessons?"

RockSoc  They'd show you how it's done but I can't guarantee it's strictly for excercise

Think Dundee might be closed now?

Anyway, they specialise in lap dancing, not pole dancing ;)

Private Eyes is a pretty sleazy titty bar (so I've heard). Maybe not the best people to go to if you're only looking to keep fit. Plenty of other aerobic exercise routines to pick from though.

Good work to have in the meantime though...Dundee isn't that much of a commute.

dancebase in edinburgh might have the kind of thing next semester, but i guess it would be expensive to go there often. Their pole dance workshop is fully booked this semester.
