Pet friendly accommodation

Hi

Im an international student currently living in uni halls, however, in June I would like to get my own flat. I will be pursuing my PhD which means I would like to be close to campus. The catch is I also need a pet-freindly flat since I will be bringing my dog.

Any suggestions how best areas? Are pet-friendly flats common here? I would prefer only one other roommate at a maximum.
