Hello,
I am a PhD student at St. Andrews, researching late antique Iran, and as part of my studies, I am learning to read Classical Armenian. Anyway, I am enjoying Classical Armenian very much, and so would quite like to have a go at learning modern Armenian (mainly for conversation, at first at least). I was wondering whether there were any Armenians (or people who speak pretty good Armenian) in St. Andrews who might be willing to do classes (I will of course pay). I am sorry to say that I do not know hoe much I can commit to any potential classes, in that I have research to do, and other (dead) languages to study, but would be very eager to try to do some modern Armenian too, at least on the side. Many thanks.
David.
