Have you boys contacted Richard Curtis about a movie deal? I must say from your brief there it has all the ingredients of a limp summer romcom, no doubt starring Nick Frost and Rhys Ifans because they aren't talented enough to get a job anywhere else.

Nick Frost is a slice of fried gold.

Wow! You guys sound like catches. So let me get this straight:

You're tolerant:
caucasian [...] non-religious girl under 20.

Down to earth:
preferably public school

and looks aren't the only thing on your mind:
Seeking:Petite [...]girl under 20.

What girl wouldn't want to go on a date with you....

I like that interpretation, but I think what they meant by the comment about guy two being 5'10" with appropriate shoes is that he is actually more like 5'7" if he doesn't wear high heels (which would in itself be a treat to see!).

Form an orderly queue, ladies!

Ah I see, what you mean. With this spirit in mind....

I'm looking for an intelligent, interesting and adventurous girl. But no fat chicks.

Look how accepting I am, people! Aren't I the paragon of the modern man?

Oops I obviously I have a very dirty mind! You're right, guy two in three inch heels would indeed be a treat. Perhaps it could be arranged on the basis of a false advertising challenge?

i think this was a troll.

two "yah's" with stereotypical descriptions, saying how they are tolerant etc, with contradictory evidence in the form of their ideal types.

Also isn't there a speed dating thing in the union these guys could go to? that would be better surely?

I am twenty, petite - my measurements are 30 - 23 - 33, brunette, pleasant and witty with a passion for cooking and reading. I enjoy travel, walks on the beach, cups of coffee and glasses of wine. Sadly I attended the local comprehensive as my parents’ thought it would create a well rounded person. I vote Conservative and wear pearls.Their plan failed.

What kind of person does it make me that all I could think when I read the title of this topic was "One Cup"?

Dear Bored and confused

I would definately be interested in your offer, I don't mind ruffing it with a state schooler, its only my chum that has the problem with the underclass. Also the whole class traitor thing is kind of a turn on. If you wanna meet up i'll be in the union on the 27th celebrating the end of exams, I'll be easily identifable with the silver spoon up my ass.

Regards

Bored and Confused,

I'm guy two and despite the description I'm not a pompous twat. I shouldn't have really put the public school nonsense - I suppose it was a parody and a safety net. You should quite charming really. I'm stuck in the library now doing work which a bore but how about meeting sometime ... let me know.

My email is thesinnerstandrews@hotmail.com if you're interested.

Hello guy two,

Apologies, I have only just received your reply to my original post. This being because I posted on May Twelfth, then checked the message board often, but to no avail – so gave up. I could not contact you on the email address for some odd reason.. I’m in London now, enjoying the lovely weather. Hope your exams went well.

Yours faithfully,

Sounds like guy 1 and guy 2 should go on a date together. If the 'two guys' are who we suspect they are they would not be opposed to this!!
