Mr St Andrews coming up in town... Mr BarStaff and Mr DoorStaff to follow in suit...

But someone tell me: what's in store for the "contestants"? The requirements for nomination? The regular summum of ridicule?

And why is there only a "Mr" BarStaff? No "Miss" St Andrews? Cause there are plenty marvellous candidates behind that there Union bar....!!

Mr St Andrews is an event run by the Charities Campaign during Rag Week.
I know in the past that they have accepted nominations from just about any group.
Mr Halls
Mr Sinner
Mr Societies

If you'd like, we could find a Mr Union.
But how would you all like to find him? At the staff Christmas party? Whoever sings karaoke the best?
Secret ballot?

If you want, I can be the "objective observer" to this little project.

To the reason why there is no Ms St Andrews,
Mr St Andrews is a fun night where the contestants do get a bit pissed and strut their stuff in front of the audience and perform tasks in order to win your vote.
It is felt by the Charities Campaign, who run Mr St Andrews, that a mirror event for women would not have the same atmosphere and the attitude towards the female contestants in a contest with such a format would not prove the same.
Anyone who has any further questions on this matter can e-mail charities@st-and.ac.uk

We're making it one of our society's events to pick one ... they just don't know it yet, the poor saps.

And it was a helluva lot of fun last year.

It's ok, its already being done. I believe at the mo it’s Mr. Door Staff and Mr. Bar Staff separately.

I think the female bar staff tend to do the voting, but when it comes down to it, it's whoever is most up for it!
We have a few volunteers already!

I thought about a Mr Sabbatical....
but suddenly I don't think it's a good idea anymore.

Think if the preliminary rounds!
