Does the Saint have a new website? The old one http://www.saintonline.co.uk/ is horribly out of date. Thanks! Laura

That's the only website we have at the moment I'm afraid Laura - we're desperately looking for someone to help keep it up to date but no one's shown much of an interest so far. Know anyone who would fancy the task? It would look awesome on a C.V.

may I suggest you advertise heavily (to the effect that it'd look good on your c.v and more) in the next issue of the saint.

If you had a positions vacant
listing for in and around town, 1. you'd make more money and 2. you could list in it yourselves for free.

tada. a mind full of useful trivia.

P.S. as well as the union website being a complete admin vortex, so it seems is the saint website.

Please prove me wrong.

hey so this is none of my business any more, but we have advertised it... the post was run at the last AGM in november and a couple of times before that. there was even an e-mail sent out to computer scientists, but we never got any response.

it does involve a lot of work, but we cant even get someone to just get us something basic...

until about a month ago the previous website on the university server...from about 6 years ago, that was funny

it's on the to do list...but that is long

wow i ramble when i'm tired

It seems that the computer scientists are either not interested because they've got too much 'science' to be getting on with, or they are reflective of the greater student body, however, that really cannot be claimed until a letter/email has been sent out to all students and none of them reply.

i run a web design company and would quite happily update the website. I've tried contacting them about this numerous times to no avail...

Have you gone to the saint office when there's someone there??

(they're there right now this minute getting their next issue ready - top floor of the union building, door with 'green room' marked on it)

I'd be happy to keep the site updated (for free) as of next semester. I've been meaning to get "back in" with the Saint, but been a bit lazy.
