There's a nice cheap undergrad's gown for sale now on ebay. Too big for me but loooks perfect for a big bloke: only 99p at the mo

Practically a steal! Lovely fit - and one of the ones made in Cambridge. I know some of you will condemn me for saying this, but I've always felt English tailoring to be somewhat finer than any other - such a strong tradition.

They know how to make clothes to fit the English "figure" and that takes a great deal of skill.
