Bouncy castle

Weird suggestion:

Get a huge fuck off bouncy castle in venue 1 one night! Then get some good music playing and it will kick ass..

A fundamentaly bad idea. We used to do that, and it didn't work too well.
The other problem is that students with a belly full of beer jump around, so therefore.. cue mass boaking.

Yeah, did bouncy castle twice last year, I think. If I remember correctly, there were some sick people and a few dangerous slips.

We'll see. (Read as "Errr... maybe... if I feel the risk isn't too much.")

how about doing it during the day or quite early when most people wouldn't be too drunk?

What about having it round the back of the union one sunny day? You know the grassy bit? During the day might be better - cheers someone.

University policy is that we are not allowed bouncy castles - mainly due to a past safety issue. This is what I was told when I asked if we could get one for a hall of residence.

I know that we're having accommodation problems, but don't you think that's going a bit far?

Halls are allowed to have them but they have to pay for a license.

the lot of you, bouncy castles were huge and raised the attendence in venue one by between 200 - 500 for events, all safety concerns were taken care of by the insurance of the supplier, and there were never any incidents of note except the urban myth of the 'girl who broke her back but didn't realise it happened in the union' which to me is up there with 'the student who demanded the bread and ale in an exam' for patent lies. i say more bouncy castles and inflatable games.
