Application to St Andrews

I have received an accepted a conditional offer (AAB) for undergraduate entry Sep this year. However I underperformed in my exams and may not have met these grades. Since St Andrews is not registered in clearing this year I hope that the admissions tutors might make some allowances and I would appreciate any advice or insight in my preparation for the worst! (ie. anyone I could contact) I would be devastated if I was unable to go to St Andrews this year and there must be something I can do!

I think you really have to wait until you get your grades. I mean you might have made them.
