Its the bleeding Merchants Association that dictate what shops can and cannot open in this town!

Actually wrong !
As a 10 Year Executive of the said Association I have never been asked what can and cannot open in Town, think you'll find that reposnsibility lies firmly at the hands of the Local Council Planning Dept ;)

We tend not to lean on the side of Political, and you see us getting involved with things like Christmas Lights, and the Town Guide that Distributes over 70,000 a year

I know committee's tend to be sleepy affairs but I'm almost certain I never slept through this !

All those coffee shops seem to charge the earth for a cup of it ... but then it's not my money you're spending.

I prefer hot chocolate, and, if you must buy it rather than make it, you can get great value for money at places like Aikman's.
