Quite definitely Wuthering Heights. Though China Drum did a much cooler punk version of it. Well, much funnier anyway, which was about all the original had going for it anyway.

Right, please someone tell me this song title...

Postby Zombie Sheep on Sat Oct 12, 2002 12:15 pm

There is a song on Trigger Happy TV that I would like to know the title and/or artist of. THe song is from the sktech where Dom Jolly dresses up as a french artist and offers to paint peoples portraits for about a £1, with some limitations such as "no beards". He then writes a vaguely ammusing quote on his canvas and runs/cycles/hops etc away. The song contains the lyrics "i am a gohst you will see", i think. Any answers greatly appreciated.

It's "If you could read my mind", by Gordon Lightfoot.

Have a look at the lyrics here, for example...

"I remember you well in the Chelsea Hotel,
you were talking so brave and so sweet,
giving me head on the unmade bed,
while the limousines wait in the street"

Quite obvious really.

solo tu sabes bien quien soy
y por eso es tuyo mi corazon

And...
How'd you do I
see you've met my
faithful handyman
he's just a little brought down
because when you called
he thought you were the candyman

Again this is rather random, but then why differ from what I normally write. Can someone supply me with the lyrics for Mr Blobby's "Mr Blobby" song? Thanks.

Something like

"Blobby, O Mr Blobby,
If only you could make us understand
Blobby, O Mr Blobby,
Your influence will spread throughout the land.

No hill to high, no desert too dry,
No something too something, no something too something,
No bridge too far, he's got a car,
No dodge no doubt no backing out
No star too bright, no squeeze too tight,
No tale too tall, no cat too cool,
No bass too low, he'll give it a go,
No end to his talents - no sense of balance

Blobby, O Mr Blobby..."

etc etc

And don't ask me why I even remember that much.

Not that I'm a fan or anything, but

"solo tu sabes bien quien soy
y por eso es tuyo mi corazon
solo tu doblas mi razon
y por eso a donde tu quieras voy"

Shakira - No Creo

My sister listens to Shakira. Honest. No, really.
Computer games don't affect kids;I mean if Pac Man affected us as kids, people would be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music.....

OK, how about:

C'est pas ma faute
Et quand je donne ma langue au chat
Je vois les autres
Tout prêts à se jeter sur moi
C'est pas ma faute à moi
Si j'entends tout autour de moi...

and so on, and so on.
