Love quotes!

Postby carmon on Fri Jun 10, 2005 3:06 pm

Feel free to add your own quotes! Enjoy!

If you want to see the rainbow you must go through the rain. If you want to see true love you must go through the pain.

I love when you look at me, because I know for a second I crossed you mind.

When you fall hard for someone and they willingly catch you,Grab their hand, hold on tight, run like hell and never look back

I'll never forget...
I'll always remember...
And eternally dream of what could be...
Just to wake and reach for hands that are not there.

One day you will come to me and ask me what's more important my life or yours, and I will have to say mine and you will walk away never knowing that you're my life!!

No one is worth your tears, and the one who is won't make you cry.

"Take the time to actually look into someone else's eyes. What they say, what they mean, what they feel, and what they don't say....are all found in two very simple, yet very complex circles."

"Love is a snowmobile racing across the tundra and then suddenly it flips over, pinning you underneath. At night, the ice-weasels come"

Not sure if that's the exact quote but Groening appears to be a bit bitter....

Although I don't think that love is overrated. That's like saying "Life is overrated".

You seem to have a pre-occupation with aids.

Pink cake = Aids
Love = Aids...

life is overrated. I seem to have been given this impossibly unlikely gift of existance but after 19 years have still to find a good reason to get out of bed. love however is not. I can't say why it is so important other than a gut reaction, but I can't find anything more valuable.

Gareth (Simon Callow) I've got a new theory about marriage. Two people are in love, they live together, and then suddenly one day, they run out of conversation.

Charles Uh-huh.

Gareth Totally. I mean they can't think of a single thing to say to each other. That's it--panic! Then suddenly it--it occurs to the chap that there is a way out of the deadlock.

Charles Which is?

Gareth He'll ask her to marry him.

Charles Brilliant! Brilliant!

Gareth Suddenly they've got something to talk about for the rest of their lives.

Charles Basically you're saying marriage is just a way of getting out of an embarrassing pause in conversation.

Gareth The definitive icebreaker.
All the truth in the world adds up to one big lie.

Some people think "bugger love" is the best kind.

Others haven't tried it.

The third kind of people forgot to lube up.

Since this thread seems to be heading in all direction, I'll add my quote:

"A peach is a peach, a plum is a plum, a kiss isn't a kiss without some tongue. So open wide and give your tongue some exercise!"

When someone breaks your heart, you'll think it's the worst thing that could possibly happen. However, always keep in mind, in every tragic ending, there's always a new beginning that's better than the last.

We live, love and die!
