Ask women out (they're unlikely to come to you).

Go out drinking less, a lot less.

Eat healthier, less sugar, and definitely less processed foods.

Save money for a summer holiday.

Quit smoking.

drink less, and attempt to get a girlfriend.
no chance in either happening so they make the ideal new years resolutions.
i've met very few people who ever succeed in keeping their new years resolutions so i might as well set equally unattainable objectives for the next 12 months.

Unlikely yes, but it has been known to happen.... blaargh, sometimes I sicken myself!

My own:

a) To actually stick to a few hobbies/interests and 'get good' at them
2) To figure out the people around me that I treat least decently, and make a change
d) To stop making stupid lists of everything
4th) All of the above in the above posts

Not get kicked out of university.
Finish my new album.
Make some of my own furniture.
Move down one notch on my belt.
Marry a nice girl and have 14 children.

This is the closest thing to a resolution I have. I don't really bother because by the end of the year I tend to have forgotten what they were...

1)go to the swing dancing thing once a week as i vow every year

2)to walk instead of taking the shuttle, although this is easy to keep up in fall and spring quarters, but really really really hard during winter quarter (which starts soon) because it is cold and rainy.

3)to practice the piano more.

4)to join the ILC planning committee, because I think they need my help.
5)Not to let that ass Liam get to me.
6)to get a job AND to work really, really hard on latin.

1. Work hard so the thesis is finished by the summer
2. Eat less - esp. chocolate (but that won't start until I've finished all my Christmas chocs!)
3. Cut back on the amount of time wasting activities - eg LJ.

How about:

Not attempting to fulfil ridiculous personal ambitions.
Instead, eat, drink and be merry.

Being less wild (well maybe it wont work either but its worth a try)
Making the absolute most of my friendships as i dont have long left at uni :'(
