How do they word our certificates?

Postby Stormy on Thu Jul 27, 2006 11:13 am

Do our degree certs say Master of Arts/ Batchelor of Science, then the degree title,
Or is it just phrased like MA Geography, or BSc Geography?
Pointless question really, but i want to know,
And does it say (with honours) or is this just a given?

Well, I didn't want to say "of the First Class" because it would have looked immodest. But maybe it's not on the other degree classes.

I got a first, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't on there. Would it be different for Science degrees?

I can't remember what is on my scroll- it's under my bed gathering dust somewhere. The letter you get is more useful because that is what I enclose a copy of with interviews. I did science too- and I can't remember it puting my actual degree on my scroll- maybe I should route it out and have a look!

It's cerainly on mine, but again that's an arts degree. Granted I rarely use it now having moved on to bigger and better ones.

Immodest enough?

Right, I checked mine and I was definitely wrong- the classification is definitely on there. I think I was confusing the certificate with the graduation ceremony, where they don't mention the classification.
