Weird. I'm pretty sure I saw you in there not so long ago.
On the other hand, I could have been mistaken.

The problem is that one has to go into Taste to eat this cake. I've no problem witht the place as such, and while it doesn't have ny facility to pay with card (in this day and age, come on), most of the people that frequent it are the Guardian reading types.

Well maybe - but you're still fat and stupid - and fat stupid people generally tend to be liars too. It's scientific fact.

Why were you attempting to purchase non-alcoholic snacks and beverages in the evening?

Vegan cake can be horrible, but ive had some good ones. In fact my mum can make a chocolate cake that is vegan and gluten free that still manages to taste good!
It’s been this way from the start
Everybody walking round with holes in the heart
Everybody holding up skies in the dark
As the stars keep falling

Oh - and was it me, or did Terry Pratchett rather overuse the Death character? He was better in small doses but speech in all caps lost its zing after a very short period of time.

[hr]

Ah, but it is at least an example of cake AND Death :) Or not, as the case may be, for Lord Winder...

Although I agree - a bit like Hex's +++ speech...

The best banana cake I've had was a while back, when my then flatmates periodically made it when the bananas were heading towards brown . . but then, everything tastes better when someone else makes it! Plus I loved the smell of baking, opening my door and smelling the banana cake before heading towards the kitchen:) A store cake just cannot compare . .

There's a fudgy one from Tesco's that I've got a bit of a thing for at the moment.

there is a distinct lack of banana cake in St Andrews - I have to go to the Marks and Sparks in Dundee if I want some. Anyone had the luck to discover any?
