Pages take ages to load, and many sites just time-out.

Anyone else, or is it just me?

Yes, actually... Almost unbearably so. Anyone know of any possible reasons? I'm guessing server trouble as opposed to traffic seeing as it's just as bad at 4 AM.

I'm finding it difficult to access anything at st-and.ac.uk (including my WiredSoc mailbox

), so is there something funny with the university connection?

We just lost internet in physics for about an hour (however the st-and.ac.uk was working fine). All's well now

Yeah, my internet is screwed. I keep getting super-fast bursts of access, but the majority of the time I have nothing.

I just logged onto the union wifi about 5 minutes ago, and it wasn't working. It seems to be now, however. I was unable to access my e-mail from home about an hour ago. I guess there's a temperamental problem lurking around just now.

According to IT Services, there are problems with the University's firewall. They have someone working on it (since 11am) and hope to have it fixed by tomorrow.

The tubes are probably filled, and that slows everyone's personal internets down.

There's a transfer problem between the gateway (138.251.2.1) out of the university and the FatMAN network connection (which I think is in Dundee).
