Raisin Sunday sightings

Postby Bizarre Atheist on Sun Nov 23, 2008 11:02 am

What have you seen? Who was involved? Where was it? Was it hilarious?

I'll start - about ten minutes ago I saw a bloke jogging up City Road. In his pants. He seemed to think it was pretty funny.

I saw something bizzare...a snowplough going along Market Street. Something I've never seen before and probably won't again.

Apparently (according to my neighbour), a certain sabbatical officer who put on a free event last night was seen walking across Greenside Court this morning in a towel with a Gin&Tonic in his hand............

It's quite snowy here too....
...and as the red red robin of time goes bob bob bobbin under the snowplough of eternity.... I see it's time to end

What time do I need to get my kids to the quad for tomorrow morning? 10am or 11am?

Huge amount of police between the Shell and Drouthy Neebors at the moment, at least half a dozen and two vans. Who's been naughty?

A student in handcuffs just down from White Stuff being held up by two police officers. Two more cops 'talking' to another student in the door way.
And all before 6.

A record number of puke puddles between Tesco and Aldi.

Several lonely individuals hardly able to walk, dropping phones, clinging to windows and doorways, but looking determined. Parents, if you get your kids that wasted by 4pm, make sure they are either still able to walk straight, send someone with them, or keep them where you can make sure they're alright!

Completely drunk student, sitting on the floor, speaking to friend outside the bubble on phone: "It's raisin weekend, it's where you get PISSED"

A very many very confused looking weekend-visitors to St Andrews.

... and some fantastic costumes!
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once.

A guy (don't think he was a first year) at an Alexandra place party at about 11.45, shouting at me because he fell on me twice and apparently I should have been sitting somewhere different.

I was sitting on the sofa.

Asshole.

Not left my flat all day - nor have I got much work done, which was the plan.
However, there was amusement when one of the flats above me decided to send their academic kids down and offer their services as cleaners......

Did you take up the offer? could have been quite beneficial to you...

It's a fair cop. Wish I could incriminate What? but he was an impeccable host.

And BA was an impeccable guest. Though not drunk enough for a Raisin Revenge.

I saw somebody on Market Street crawling wearing a lead which was being held by her father (I assume). That was weird.
