What do I do with my life after university?

What have other people got planned for life after student life?

Teacher Training. Teaching.

Go to China, grab one of the numerous jobs out there (mostly teaching) in time for my tourist visa to be made a work visa, and stay for a while. Then work / volunteer at Shanghai EXPO 2010. Eventually see how much I like being there after all, and either call it home, or move on.

I'm in my ninth year at University now. Looking for someone to pay me to do a tenth. The real world is for wimps... and people who actually want to earn some money.

Hmm I'm hoping that by the time I get out of higher education the world will be in economic meltdown and political ferment. I've been reading this book by this guy, see, and things were sort of similiar in his day. Says all I have to do is shoot up a beer hall and get myself arrested, in a couple of years I'll be out and able to plan for my new world order. After that it's all gravy, so long as i don't spoil it by fighting a war on two fronts.

Don't make any major plans unless you know exactly what it is you want to do out of instinct.

I still don't know, but I'm not doing badly --- and a year is a long, long time... Never mind 40.
