Anyone else get a crazy anti-Jerry leaflet through their door?

Nope, although it was only a matter of time before that happened.

Didn't actually, although it's hard to find where I live. Go on, someone scan it and stick it on the site, i want to know what it is.

your wish, etc etc

(Note - someone else had scanned it in - I merely spotted it.... incidentally, the leaflets didn't venture as far as Greenside court as far as I'm aware. Was this just a town centre thing?)

Paradox fun:
'"No right, no wrong," is amoral, the morality of Hell.'

Have this lot not not realized yet that the most effective way to make something like this successful is to make a fuss about it? I could give a rats arse about the play. From what I've heard, it's a bit of a shit script, and I don't reckon it'll even rate among most Mermaids performances. However, I'm considering going to see it now just because of all the hype (I love dissapointment for some reason). If you'd just ignored it, it probably would be another one of those St Andrean performances which plays to a half-empty venue 1. Now that all the fuss has been made, it'll almost certainly sell out within an hour of going on sale!

Well done Christian Voice! In future, feel free to shut the hell up!

I take it that you mean the flyers through people's doors Hennessy,, provided by the groups against the show, is the free advertising - in which case, yes - I strongly believe the newspaper reports and the high-profile campaign against the show are going to be excellent advertising for it - and probably not put too many students off - instead sparking curiosity, and as Jono says, creating a near sell out.

On the off chance that Hennessy's post was a comment about me linking to the facebook group - I'm not involved in Jerry at all - I have my own show in On The Rocks to worry about!

Haha nice plug there random, I was talking about the Christian leafleteers excellent marketing campaign on behalf of the show, not that it's convinced me to go see it, but I bet plenty will be attracted by the veneer of controversy.

Hennessy,

I'm glad someone noticed the plug there!

I think that's now the 3rd or 4th time that that image has been used on The Sinner in relation to the Jerry show now. Amazing.

I don't care about Jerry Springer. I'm more concerned about the filth in that horrid play The History Boys that they are showing in The Byre... yeah!

Oh dear, Phil. After seeing Hennessy's post, I was just about to reply with pretty much the same thing... perhaps I should get out more.

I found a leaflet on the windscreen of my car this afternoon so they've now ventured as far as Bridge Street to spread the all important word of God :P
