Does anyone know anything about a society called Losab? There appears to be some reference to it a few years ago, does it still exist and what is it?

Loyal Order of St Andrews Brewers. Google it. Search for it on here.

Hey, sounds like they aren't active, but I've been thinking about starting to home brew again. I've got a great burner for it at my flat... Anyone know the best place for brewing supplies around here? I used to use a local shop back home... but in St Andrews it sounds like I'll have to mail order.

I kindo think that most of the people reading and posting on this website graduated years ago.

Seems a bit dead now.

I know quite a few people that brew in St Andrews, they're all part of the Medieval Society actually. I can put them in touch with you if you want? Maybe they can give you some tips.

Yes they generally are nice people - is that the society that uses Albany Park as a battleground every Sunday afternoon?

You all look splendid when you're all together dressed like that, less so when there is only one of you, in a cloak, buying fruit in Tesco.

I'm not part of the society myself but I think so.

They are like the Masons. Don't have anything to do with them. The town police, councillors and lecturers are in on it. They have filthy orgies.
