I think there's an article about changing light bulbs on the Sinner's Guide.

If there isn't then if anyone wants to write one...

how many singer songwriters does it take to change a lightbulb?

Two - One to change the bulb and another to sing about what it was like living in the darkness.

I hold an element of surprise

For household applications I say lightbulb.

At work, in the industry, I say lamp.
