being the copycat that i am, i just set up one of those livejournal accounts. should i download one of the lj programs, and if so, which one should i download?

I downloaded one onto my old computer but it confused me (I'm more than a little hopeless with technology!). I just update online - it's safer that way!

You may want to download "Wordjournal." It's an application that will allow you to tool with your font, font size, add pictures in your entry space, add links, etc. After awhile, you'll get comfortable with using the html tags needed to do this, which it will show you.
